Data Usage over Mobile Network

Hello,

I have recently just installed this on my new Desire HD and so far it has been working like a dream.

One thing I would like to ask is how much data per hour does this baby take when using the mobile network (assuming you have 0 chats during that hour, so running in the background listening; and maybe saying sending and receiving around 100 messages per hour of an average of 50 characters per message).

It would be good if trillian could provide figures for this as people have data plans they have to stick to.

It will be good if they could give it when you have check the setting "Battery Saving Mode" on and off as I am guessing both has a effect on the usage.

Also must say I am impressive with the battery consumption on this thing, top class.

Using build 145 I think - How does one check the version?

There really is no way to tell that. The usage would depend on your phone, your carrier, if you're on 3G etc, what networks you are signed onto, how many contacts you have on each network, etc. There really are too many factors to even give you an idea of the data usage.

While I complete agree, I do think it would be neat if you could see the amount of data each app used on your phone!
