Trillian Web doesn't log me out of Google chat

When I log out of Trillian web using the logout button, I am logged off from all services except Google chat. My GChat friends say I show up as online all the time. I even did a test where I just disconnected from Google Chat and left my other services running. A friend who I am connected with via AIM, Yahoo and GChat says the Google Chat icon still showed me as online after disconnecting from GChat. And when I log out fully from Trillian web he says the AIM and Yahoo icons show me as offline but GChat stays online. I know I am not signed in to any other sessions of GChat on any browser. I have it disabled in the Gmail browser app and don't have the desktop Google Talk app installed anywhere.

Ideas? Anyone else see this?

Have your friend very to verify the client and resource names used by your connection.

It will help determine what is connected still and from where.

When I am logged into trillian web it shows in his Pidgin info that I am using Trillian 2.0.0.61d and a resource of WEB01159CEF. When I log off GChat on trillian web, all that info goes away and is blank, but still shows me as online and available. Perhaps it's not trillian web? I do log into google on my ipad2 so maybe it's coming from there, but I make a point to force-close any web-connected apps like that when I am done.

Have your friend log into actually googletalk or gmail and verify your status there is staying online.

It could be a problem with pidgin.
