Is there anyway for the forum system to e-mail me when there are new messages posted to a thread I have replied to? I.E. FuseTalk's "subscribe to thread" funtion. It would be really nice to have!

Yeah I know some versions of UBB have that feature as one of the options listed below the post box, I don't know why it's not here. I would like this option too.

It such a waste to not have it though. If I want to keep up to date on this thread, I have to bookark it and check it every day! What a waste of my time and Cerulean's bandwidth! The software seems fine otherwise, this is just one important feature I would like to see.

I make an effort to come here and check what's new and what's happening.

I simply have software (watznew (http://www.watznew.com)) and have it check the forums every 10 minutes it gives a sound when it's been updated and I go check out "watznew", I have a bunch of other pags in there of course and it makes life a lot easier.

acutally the older version has this too, they used a UBB hack to use the mail thingy.
if you know perl a little bit, you can add it to the UBB. it easy to add the UBB hack it not going to damage the UBB system.

Im myself, are adding another UBB on my site, to test it out, i'll send you the link, and you people tell me how is it.

Does the hack mail you every time the boards change? or only on certain things? It seems to me that if it mailed you everytime the boards changed you would be getting tons of email. You can point me to the site and I can check it out.

no, it doesnt email everytime the board change, only when a user request it. when a person post a meessage, in OPTIONS(where you post at) there will be an option where it say, send mail if someone replies. It doesnt email you all the time when the board change. Hope that make you understand what im talking about.

It should add a little check box by "show signature" and "disable smilies"

Have it Email you every time someone replys to something that you replyed to or made hahahahahahaha talk about junk email, i check this board more than i do my email anyways and i can gurantee that Javageek does aswell, i post something he's usually replied within 10 minutes hahaha :-) which is really cool cause i'm impatient hahaha

So anyways yeah fu*k the email thing...
