Trillian Pro 2.0 may fail to connect to Yahoo instant messenger server/host even after Yahoo Patch Beta 1 is installed. This is caused by default host scs.yahoo.com fails, and Trillian Pro 2.0 does not have a list of alternative back-up hosts to try to connect. Although you do not see a pop-up error message, if you -< (single left click) the red circle (which represents disconnected Yahoo! instant messenger) at the bottom of Trillian Pro 2.0 contact list -< Toggle Status Window, you will see following error message:
Error while connecting (Error Code: 0). Disconnecting.
As Trillian Pro 2.0 does not have a list of alternative back-up hosts, you have to enter any of following alternative back-up hosts as well as alternative ports manually by -< the red circle at the bottom of contact list -< Account Preferences... -< Connection tab where both host: and port: is in the server section at the top of dialog box.
