Have you ever had issues using the right click menu to send SMS messages to users? You can't add the number because Trillian thinks the number is there, when it actually turning up in the menus or the user's phonebook?

Here's a sneaky trick to get Trillian to do it:

Find a contact you want to SMS.

Right click that contact, and go to the 'Send SMS Message' menu, and choose 'Add an SMS phone'.

The 'View Details' dialog should appear at the Phonebook page. Choose Add. Add the number like you normally would, but when you add the number, add 1 to the number. IE: If the number is 123456, enter 123457.
Click OK and the new number should appear in the Phonebook for that user.

Now delete any of the other Private Cellular numbers in the phonebook, other than the one you just added.

Now select the one you just added, click edit, and change the number to the correct number (eg, 123456)

Click Save, then Close. Now try sending SMS! You should have more success!

Note: Trillian Pro 2.01 beta 1 is what I tested this with, and it crashed once when I tried to send a message to someone. If this happens, all SMS numbers you have added since your last restart of Trillian will be erased. How to get around this: Close and restart Trillian and your SMS numbers will be saved.

I hope this workaround works for you - tell me if it doesn't :)
