You know how Windows Messenger is integrated to Outlook and Internet Explorer, Well i thought it would be cool, if Trillian could somehow integrate with those software like Messenger.

But what I really don't understand is, Micro$oft, has all this money , and make all these software, and yet a little company can make a product that people really want, and the big guns don't think about it.

Chalk it up to Intuition.

Yep, the e-mail checking utility has been requested many times.

That's one that I would definately use since I leave Trillian and an e-mail checker open all the time.

I think this is seperate from the email-checking request.

ICQ has a plugin right now for Outlook, for example. It creates a new toolbar in Outlook. When a message is selected, ICQ searches to see if the sender's email is on your contact list. If it is, it shows their ICQ name on the toolbar, along with their status. You can choose to send them a message, a file, or a URL right there from the toolbar without opening ICQ.

If that email address isn't on your contact list, ICQ gives you the option of sending them an invitation to download ICQ. Nice of them.

So yeah, seeing a Trillian version of this would be great, so I can replace that ICQ thing. I'd be willing to wait for the plugin. (:

and obviously, being a microsoft product, outlook and outlook express have built in integration with msn messenger. However, both programs see you as offline when using trillian, so you can't really use their integration features. and in a similar sense, it would be cool if trillian would open instead of msn when at hotmail.com. no clue if its possible, just think it would be cool.
