I don't want to upgrade to version 3 as 2 works perfectly fine and I like the skin I am using. Also, many business contacts and friends who have used version 3 have gone back to version 2 due to stability issues and the constant authorization requests that version 3 causes to everyone in their contacts lists.

Would it be too much to ask to have a patch made for version 2.x to be able to get on ICQ and yahoo for that matter?

if not I will unfortunately have to go back to using ICQ's ubber unstable and bloated application.

yea the constant authorization resquets happened to a few of my biz contacts, very strange to say the least.

What's even stranger is that my trillian 2.x is still able to connect to ICQ afterall!

I was scared to shut it down but did so anyways and it still worked.

YAY!

Cool, I hadn't actually tried it. Must have been one of the new 3.0 things that went bad then :p
