IRC problem

Not sure if this is fixable easily or what , but when i log into a DALNET channel on IRC using Trillian and the channel is set to +C, no color useage, nothing I type will display in the channel

status error: "You cannot use colors on this channel. Not sent: test"

I dont see how to make Trillian not send colors to the irc plugin...

any help, thanks.

A friend of mine emailed Trillian about this, I guess about a month ago and never heard back about it. It seems it would be easy to remedy a way for the irc plugin to recognize +C and strip color.

Sorry for taking a while (I hope you subscribed to this thread!), but you can use IRC Color Remover (http://qbj.hole.org.uk/#irctools) (if you're using Pro). It turns off all formatting for all of IRC, but it should help you get into the channel you want.

It should also work to right-click in the channel window and go to Options->Text Formatting->Off - but I haven't tested it I guess.
