Anyone experiencing Trillian all by itself suddenly pegging the CPU to 100% and staying that way?

Right now I can exit Trillian and run it again and it will immediately occupy in the high 90's of CPU usage permanently on a 2.4 Ghz processor. If I reboot, it might work for a while (or that is my impression since I don't notice it immediately and I've just started monitoring the problem).

No network traffic, so Trillian is not looping on a network connection unless it is a network connection that is not resulting in network traffic.

Also appreciate any info on debugging this before I submit a bug report.

Background: Version 3.1 Pro. I have 3 connections AOL, ICQ and MSN. Nothing abnormal about installation, except using a proxy server at work and none at home.

That could come from sign ins, or some one not on your bl iming you. Recently i havn't been able to prove any of this to anyone here, but has any containers with your SN named after it appeared?

Trillian becomes non-responsive at this point so there is no way to get any info. The only thing noticed is the fact that it hogs the CPU. There are no other indicators.

Usually it'd be somthing in the task bar tray that would still show up but you couldn't do anything with it. Also if you have logging enabled right click to find the last edited file in the logs to find out which medium it may be comming from and add the user name(s) that are iming you. (if my theory is correct in your situation.) Then close trillian and reopen it (before it lags up). hopefully that'll end your problem.
