[BUILD-NOTIFY] 2/9/07 Alpha/B31 (and 32!)

Build 31 was released today. Shortly after the release an issue was discovered that affected the new German Language Pack so Build 32 was put in it's place. Testers can download the new version with the link they received in their email.

This was primarily a bug-fix (http://blog.ceruleanstudios.com/wp-content/uploads/2007/02/cl-2-9-2007.txt) release but the German users will be happy to find that the German Language Pack is available. The German team (http://developer.ceruleanstudios.com/index.php/Trillian_Language_DE_Contributors) made quick work out of the translation so it's ready for review! This bug most likely corrupted my online saved config data. Any ideas how to force trillian with a manual config in the *.ini files to avoid synchronizing account config & buddies data on a new installation of trillian?
I'm unable to run trillian since then (tried to completely reinstall build 30,31,32), and deleted the whole program and config folder first.

Yea i just noticed im having the same issue i no longer can log in.

In C:\Documents and Settings\<User>\Application Data\Trillian\users\<ID> (or <Trillian directory>\users\<ID> open "astra.ini" and change
Use Local Contacts=0
toUse Local Contacts=1

It then should force an overwrite of the server contact list.

Edit: im thinking the problem goes beyond updating i think the data on the server is some how corrupt. but i cant be sure thats my hunch.

On a new installation (and failed startup), there is no "astra.ini", only ASTRA-X-Trace.ini, with no "Use Local Contacts=0" entry inside. Neither adding "Use Local Contacts=1" to ASTRA-X-Trace.ini nor create astra.ini with that entry works. Is this config entry in some category I also have to add, or how to build that astra.ini from scratch?

my main concern as well
i´ve searched the bugzilla
but cant find if theres filed one about offline messaging


but im happy i can now close trillian without the taskmanager ;)

Offline messaging for aim, msn and the other mediums are going to be added in a later build.

Also the new build loads a lot faster than the previous builds for me \o/
