Saw a copy floating around when I was looking for a replacement for mIRC... (around 0.58 or something? don't remember) Decided it wasn't developed enough, so I went on. Came back after ICQ was added (0.60 I think - at least I don't remember it having Yahoo! in it yet.)

I think Centaur's was the first to make me turn away permanently from the default.
