PROBLEM DESCRIPTION

When going from a chat window to another application, clicking once on the new application is not enough to change active focus to the new window. This is only a problem if new text has been entered in the chat window by the user. It does not happen
EXPECTED RESULT
======================
Click once in new application and begin typing.
ACTUAL RESULT
======================
After clicking in new application, anything typed goes into the existing chat window. To use new application, a double-click is required.
