Hello,

Im getting very tired of 2 enormous bugs that have been going on for the last 2 months with Astra:

1) Sometimes (like 60% of the day) when going over the contact list with the mouse, Astra locks up and after 10 seconds responds again being very slow. Mostly with MSN contact list people.
2) When specific MSN people talk to me the whole client crashes. I have tried to trace down to what could be the problem of this but I cannot seem to find out what this is. Half of the time MSN works fine, but sometimes with specific people when they start talking to me the whole Astra client crashes.

Can this be looked at?

FYI my system is an AMD 5000+ with 3gb of memory running Windows Vista business edition.

Excellent attitude!

You are testing ALPHA software; there is a simple and effective method for reporting bugs.

Bug 3696

[Contact List] Contact list freezes during scroll (http://bugs.ceruleanstudios.com/show_bug.cgi?id=3696)

Having software that still keeps crashing even after 6 months is tbh very annoying. And right now i cant even start it anymore it keeps crashing with every startup after it connects to MSN. The http://www.trillianastra.com/ login doesnt even work and the bug reporter i have in my email is down so i didnt know about a new page: http://panic.ceruleanstudios.com/astrabugs/

it is ALPHA, not even beta. if you need a stable client, there is 3.1.

If it's been crashing for 6 months, why have you just now reported it? There are crash dumps which can be attached to posts here or Bugzilla to diagnose the problem, but if the devs don't know about it, how can they fix it?

Like Jana said, if you need stability, use a released product, not an alpha.
