Astra Password not working

Ever since update a few days ago it gets stuck at Logging In.
I tried my password sent to me in my email and a few other passwords i would have set it to if i could have changed it.
My username is....

does the password work at www.astra.im? - i mean, if it does, then it's correct, and then there's time to find out what's wrong with your installation (maybe a clean reinstall could help then). but try the web astra first.

yeh i tried a clean reinstall. with same email password. no luck.

I tried all passwords i could think of at astra.im, no luck. btw Firefox has problems with that middle login on astra.im. If it fails, it doesnt report back anything, just looks like its 'thinking'.
Had to use IE to test login.

Can anyone get in touch with my email for that account to help me out?
Maybe i changed the password. but not sure what it would be now, so a reset would be helpful.

You can not change your astra password, so the only thing it can be is what you were emailed in your invitation email from Cerulean Studios.

A friend of me has the same problem... uhh he was sooo happy if he saw the email from mailman, but than the password every time is wrong. :( No Web Astra, no Astra Client.

This is currently happening to me as well, Astra has always auto logged in and now it keeps saying bad password. I can't get in on the website (I get Error #272 during server poll) and I can't using the software.

Having the same issue here as well. Just started happening a version or two ago...

For what its worth, will not work in www.astra.im either.

My Trillian upgraded today and still cant get past the login screen?

I hate using AIM lol. i needs my trillian beta back lol.

You can VNC to my box to test stuff. i did a clean install and still same problem.

i tried entering my password then cancelling and hitting X,
asked me 2nd or 3rd time like some suggested in http://forums.ceruleanstudios.com/showthread.php?t=89315.
Then worked.

Bugzilla has it's own password, it isn't the same as your Astra user name and password. If you have forgotten your password to Bugzilla, you click on login and at the bottom you can retrieve your password there.

Where is the Password recovery for Bugzilla? I tried logging in to bugzilla using passwords that I might have set it to to no avail. Frustrating.

btw I also tried logging in to astra.im and it freezes or It says Error #272 during server poll (in IE at least, FF just freezes and does nothing). I think this has always been a problem for me.
(what is astra.im anyway, ive never seen it since ive always had this error problem, is it a web interface for Trillian for IMing like meebo.com?)

Anyway, as you know from topic of thread, my trillian alpha password isnt working too.

So far the only thing that works is my password to leave comments on the blog. doh.

a. if i did, what is my username for it. and how to reset password.
b. if i didnt, where to signup

armyofd12mnkeys, when you go to bugzilla, first (in the authentication dialog) you use the login/password provided in your mail. THEN you create your own account with your email address and your custom password. you do it here:

actually, you should know if you have registered there already or not :D

if you're not sure and you think you have created the account already, but you don't remember the password, use the form here (http://bugs.ceruleanstudios.com/createaccount.cgi?GoAheadAndLogIn=1) where it says "If you have an account, but have forgotten your password, enter your login name below and submit a request to change your password."

but that 2nd link to change password, asks for a username/password just to get to the page lol, so got a 401 auth error page. I assume maybe same authentication dialog you spoke of where i use the password sent in orig alpha email... and that doesnt work.
So stuck in password purgatory for now.

oh well, I got alot of programming to finish for work this week, maybe i'll look into how to reset my bugzilla password is when i get less busy. Frustrating using stupid stupid AIM in meanwhile.

errr... of course it does ask for a password, and that's the one you got in your invitation mail!!! please, read it properly... :p

you have THREE combinations of username / password in your invitation:

your Astra ID and password - you use this one for logging into Astra and www.astra.im
Astra download password - you had to use this one for downloading the installer
Bugzilla password - you need to use this one to get to Bugzilla, and this is what you need now.

after you go through the authentication dialog (when using the THIRD username/password combination), you have to create YOUR OWN username/password combination, so that you can post bugs and comments, vote, etc.

I'm using the password sent to me by Trillian. In Opera and IE it hangs. In Firefox, it tells me it is an invalid password. But I've gotten the same password for Astra emailed to me three or four times now.

Gosh how hard is to get any help on this issue. Unfortunately my husband wiped my computer and emails and the program was deleted I have been trying to get the program from tickets sent in and still no reply. I have my user name and password.

Then of course I try logging into the web astra and get what everyone else having just sit there stating its logging in and nothing happens. This can be very irritating and when you put ticket in it says your not a member and to renew your membership so you won't get support when needed send ticket to bugzilla.

My question is what is bugzilla site. No one gives the link and when you do a search there are a few.

I just want to get my Astra back...
