[FOR SUBMISSION] text margins missing in Cordonata theme in IRC window

The message windows for IRC no longer have a narrow left margin. The text is now flush up against the left side of the window instead of having a 1/8" gap between the left side of the window and the screen text. This does not occur in the Cobalt skin, and worked properly in the 4.0.0.64 skin.

Single IM message windows do not experience this issue, and have the proper left-hand margin space.

This Cordonata bug is now back with build 68. You guys need better version tracking.

I'll try removing the theme and doing a reinstall and see if that clears it up.

Keep in mind that I'm referring to the IRC chat window, not standard IM windows. The standard IM windows have a fixed 2-space left margin, but no bottom margin (flush with the bottom of the chat window). The IRC/conference chat window has a bottom margin, but no left margin (flush with the left side of the chat window).

Removing the entire Trillian application directory, as well as my user profile directory, then reinstalling, did not clear up the issue.

HOWEVER...

I looked at the chat settings, and I realized that the timestamp prompt could be used to correct the issue (as a kludge), and give me a small margin space to the left of the conference window text:

__[%h:%m]

Note that I put two spaces (replaced with underscores here so you could see what I mean) before the left bracket. But now my private IM windows are extra-indented by two spaces. I suppose I could live with that, but it would be nice if there was a small enforced margin on all sides to prevent the text from bumping up against the sides of the chat conference window - or perhaps even a configurable margin.

This is only with the Cordonata skin. The Cobalt skin seems to have a fixed, one-space margin all the way around in all chat/conference windows. And while I suppose I could live with the Cobalt skin, Kid put so much effort into Cordonata and it's really attractive, which is why I prefer to use it. I know this isn't a major bug, just cosmetic.

I understand what an IRC chat window is, and it affects all mediums that have "Group Chat" windows. I just flat out do not have the bug since it was fixed a handful of builds ago, and can't find anyone else that does either. Not sure why your system is behaving differently.

actually, this appeared in 68 again - and i'm sure it was okay in the previous build... the bug in bugzilla is reopened.

I had not attempted to fix the bug yet. :) Short term fix is just a shift of placement, but long term fix is to implement Chat Views in there, which can be hard.

OK, it looks like Kid has added some very nice wide margins in the group chat and IM windows. I don't know if this is his quick fix, or if it's the proper fix he was mentioning earlier. Looks nice, though.
