in earlier versions it was possible to change the color of received messages.
but now in astra this checkbox has no effect for color.
i can change font and size but the color i choose there was not taken over

on every skin. my friend has the same problem.

any tipps about this?

How are you changing the color? Would you mind showing me a screenshot of what you are doing and what is not working? Does it work in non bubble view?

it does not work in none of the different views, but i use always the standard view
in earlier versions i even could change the color.

me again,

with the newest update my problem is still the same

i read some other posts with even the same thing
It only changes color of font of my messages, (and the color of message I am typing), no change color for received messages (font does change, but not the color)
overrride styling is enabled, font color and background color doesnt change, font type and size does change.

please help

I'm having this same problem - no matter what I do whether in the preferences or in the actual IM window itself, it defaults to something I never set it to, making it nearly impossible to read any messages I've sent or I get from friends using custom colours themselves. (with sometimes hysterical results, but still...)

This only started when I installed the latest version this morning...

Sorry that this was not fixed in the 4.1 build. It is still in the bug system, so we haven't completely forgotten about it.

Thanks for the prodding though, doesn't hurt to do that in case it got lost in the shuffle. :)

the problem is the same. even with 4.2

am i the only one with this problem?

even on my new pc with completely fresh installed astra 4.2

always the same problem, can anyone please help?

Have you tried upgrading to 5? See if you have the issue there.
