Hi,

Can someone tell me if concurrent MSN logins are supported on the iphone app - i.e. if I login to MSN using Trillian on my iphone will it leave me logged into the MSN clients on my PCs (the ability to have multiple MSN clients logged in at once was added in the last 6 months or so by Microsoft).

Thanks!
T

The developers are working on this, so hopefully soon.

Which clients properly work with multi-login? So far I've noticed that AIM receives messages on both my desktop and iPhone at the same time, and MSN isn't supported yet. Does Google Talk work properly?

As far as I know, Google Talk and Jabber are the only two that work as advertised. AIM works, but delivers messages to all clients and on top of that sends a damn "someone else is logged in" IM at every location.

Oh yeah, and the Astra network.

Correct, but you can ignore that message in the preferences on the windows client, and Rachel is going to add the same option to the next iPhone build.

As far as the "as advertised" crap ... they never said it worked for networks that don't support it... ICQ and Yahoo do not allow it AT ALL ... so that will never happen until they change.

Alright well at least Google works properly. I know that the AIM thing isn't Trillian's fault - hopefully AIM fixes that issue or some kind of work around can be implemented. In the meantime, I guess I just sign out of Trillian for iPhone when I'm on the desktop. No big deal :)

Don't go picking fights. I wasn't putting any blame on CS for other protocols not supporting it, I'm just saying that advertised feature of simultaneous sign on only works with those services.

Read what I wrote, not what you think I meant. I'm not picking any fight with you, and I know how this place works.

Yup, that means just let it go, there is no issue here.
