How do you start a chat room?

I could not figure out how to start a chat room of my own, or how to join an existing one.

Any suggestions?

:-( This is the main feature I use.
I need support for Jabber chat rooms / conferences. Without this a IM client is really worthless. :-(

I suppose if it was called a "chat room client" that would be true.

But just because you use that feature a lot does not make the whole client worthless. It still does "IM's" wonderfully.

I'm sure they will add that in eventually.

Conference rooms are on the list, yes. But people kept complaining that they wanted the alpha test to be open, so... now it's open. ;)
