possible fix
I read in another thread that the workaround for now was to delete aim.dll. Then you lose all AIM connectivity, but at least Trillian doesn't crash.

I went in and renamed aim.dll to aimBAK.dll instead of deleting it. Launched Trillian, and everything works perfectly. I can see and chat with people on AIM, and all other services.

Have no idea if I just got lucky, or if this is a real fix for the moment, but give it a try. Your mileage may vary.

yep it seems to be one way.

The sending/receiving seems to be messed up. some receive, some send, etc.

I cannot send to wife's account, but she can send to me.

raafhimself can send and receive from me.

you can only send to me.

sigh.

Can you send and receive from everyone? I'm getting sporadic no replies, then finding out they never received my IM on AIM.

as someone mentioned earlier about it being related to their AOL email....

that seemed to work for me.....went online and cleared out all of my spam mail from aol and then re-started trillian and logged in to AIM with no probs

I am also getting this whole issue.

When I log on I get the AIM failed message, and it turns AIM and ICQ off...

then ICQ pops back on??

I downloaded the new AIM, and it still doesn't work.

I don't have AOL mail, so I don't think that is it.....
