I installed the latest update from the Mac App Store.... and I have no idea what change I made, but every chat session posts hundreds of "This conversation is no longer off the record." messages.

How do I turn this off. It is happening with all my GTalk accounts.

This is happening on the Windows client as well. I think GoogleTalk changed something on their end. This has been fixed in Trillian 4. Trillian 5 will be fixed when they release build 30. It will *more than likely* be fixed when the next build of the Mac client is released.

I have no idea of when that will happen. Only someone from CS (probably Sparks) can answer that.

Yup...it will be fixed in the next build. Unfortunately for you Mac guys, you can't just step down to a working version in the meantime.

More to the point, there is no working version to step down to. The issue happened because Google changed something on the server-side relating to their Off The Record extensions. This means any previous version will still display the same issue as the most recent, because the change will still be in place on Google's side.

The only way to fix it is to make changes to Trillian's Gtalk OTR support. Scott's fixed it already on the Windows and Octopus sides, and the next OS X build will include the new xmpp.dylib build as well. I'm going to roll 1.1.0.2 faster than I'd originally planned because of this.

Is there an ETA for 1.1.2? I keep on opening up Trillian hoping that Google has somehow fixed it on their end but it's never the case.

I can confirm that she said that in some other thread (too lazy to look)... But that if it was in limbo too long she may skip it and submit 1.1.3 which includes that fix, as well as support for the continuous client (Do not know what she is currently thinking/doing though)

As for Continuous Client... I think they should refer to it as 'Trillian Anywhere' Or something that anyone can point to it as a named feature, and say this is why Trillian is great, and why it is better than any other client out there (Ok I need to turn down the zeal, but I love this feature soo much)
