GoogleTalk: Contacts list not showing
I figured I'd post this in the Tech Support thread. But contacts list for GoogleTalk accounts do not show in Trillian. I've tried reinstalling the latest Windows version and rebooting. Nothing seems to function. Please help !!

Thanks,
Mark

I am having the same issue this morning.
Email notifications and IM messages are both working. If I manually add a person in who has chatted to me they then show up in the contact list.

Same here.
I noticed it yesterday, added a handful of contacts back to my list, and they were gone this morning.

FYI I guess you have to follow @trillianastra on twitter to be in the loop:
@trillianastra: we're working on a fix for today's google talk issue right now. (posted at about 10:30am EST)

I've noticed that when I re-added a user Google Talk tells me that 1 of X is online (1/52) in my case.
Like everyone else, they still appear in my offline contacts but I have no idea which ones they are.

oh, not another one
so, i tried to manually reasociate the contacts with gmail it is not working. I can still search for the contacts, but even online ones appear as offline. I got seriouse delays on video and no sound with an yahoo account, poor webcamera quality transmision, crashes to desktop without warning. I read some great stuff about trillian on the internet, so I'm sure they'll crack this egg also. Gtalk sucks bigtime anyway so why beocme so protective? Win 7, pro, dsl internet, tried to change server to talkx.l.google.com, port to 422/5222, with/without ssl, still not working

OK, great, fix for version 5, but no love for version 4? The blog post makes it sound like they're done with the whole thing, and consider it a closed issue.

then your issue is either not related or you did not update your client to the latest version.
