not all sites have them.. Ususaly a search at www.google.com will turn up something..

And some are not available to the public... HardOCP.com has one but its only accessable by other websites via a PHP script...

Just a note.. if the RSS file does not display in your browser it will not likely work with the trillian plugin.

the CNN one does not seem to be public, just like the HardOCP.com ....

Lots of sites don't like haveing them public because they charge other sites for them or they get too much traffic from all the timed downloads.

Information RSS.ini
Here is my rss.ini file containing feeds from the BBC, CNN, CERT, Sophos and Symantec. Please be forwarned that there are 23 feeds in the .ini file. It has been stripped of all the recent feeds, so it will want to refresh upon loading Trillian. (Just a warning for anybody on dial-up.)

Just unzip the file into trillian/users/username directory.

IT WILL REPLACE ANY CURRENT FEEDS YOU HAVE!

If you want to keep your current feeds, just grab the info out of the .ini file that you want.

ENJOY!

Are there any variables in the rss.ini file that can be changed to alter the frequency of updaing the feeds?

Anyone know of interesting tweaks for this file... ie: define a default app other than your browser to retrieve the stories??
"When Alma Grun pulled out that revolver and pointed it at my chest, it didn't strike frear in me so much as fascination. I understood that the gun contained a thought that had never occurred to me before. The world was full of holes, tiny apertures of meaninglessness, microscopic rifts that the mind could walk through, and once you were on the other side of one of those holes, you were free of yourself, free of your death, free of everything that belonged to you."
