I can connect to all other chat services just fine. I can use windows live messenger to connect. I cannot get Trillian to work with MSN. ANY help would be much appreciated.

I'm also experiencing the same problem and get the same messages in the status bar.

I get the same problem with a fully updated Trillian Pro... It looks like MSN is blocking 3rd party access. But how? And is there a fix?

Same here.. blue unlocked lock with an X. No buddies show, but it counts my hotmail inbox mail.

What is with you people and old articles? Nothing in the IM industry from 2004 applies at all anymore for any network or any IM client.

so why is it that msn is constantly being disconnected?

and even sometimes, i have to re-apply my msn name and password to my trillian, its like trillian loses the info, at least once a week or so
