Have downloaded the OSX alpha build this morning, after getting reminded about Trillian thanks to an RSS feed of newly released apps from iusethis.

Having previously been a long-time pro user when a PC user, I'm glad that OSX is getting some Trillian love.

Anyway, have noticed that no avatar is appearing for me in the contact list window. No options in preferences or by clicking/right-clicking on avatar area to change this.

Either this isn't changable (yet), not picking it up from an appropriate service, or I'm a total loser who despite more years of IT experience than I care to remember - can't see the option/screen to change this which is staring me right in the face.

The avatar change screen has not been created yet, no. It pulls the icon from your Astra settings, so if you have a brand new Astra account it won't have an avatar there. (The avatar picker screen will be in one of the next builds.)

I to am glad trillian has arrived for the mac its one of the few windows apps I missed when i switched several years ago.

So i am looking to add a profile picture and see it has to be done via the astra profile page, given I am anew user were exactly is that url so I can set it?

I downloaded the Windows version and started up Windows in Parallels. Set my Avatar with it and then switched back. Worked great.

The avatar picker is definitely on my todo list. However, it's going to be more than just 'pick a file,' which is why it takes a little more time to finish properly.
